Priest Associate for Stewardship

The Rev. Hollis Williams

The Rector has asked me to serve on Trinity Staff as Associate for Stewardship. I will serve with the Trinity Stewardship Committee to develop a year round program to encourage parishioners to more effectively manage and use their time, personal skills/gifts, financial resources, and enjoy and respectfully use the resources of the Created order.

My family moved to Everett, WA, from Lake Charles, Louisiana, where I served as Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church. After that tenure, I served as Interim Rector of St. Stephen's in Longview, St. Paul's in Bellingham, and Priest-in-Charge of St. Thomas in Medina. I retired after those assignments. I also have been a touring Docent at Seattle Art Museum, touring students, adults, and most recently the sight impaired/blind. I have been a Docent at the Central Seattle Public Library since the new building opened, giving library use and architectural tours. The Bishop's office asked me to be mentor to several newly ordained and newly positioned priests. I also was Priest-in-Charge of two congregations when their Rector was on sabbatical. Professionally, I enjoy the Liturgy and Music of the Episcopal Church. My wife and I have been involved in the church's social outreach ministry to improve race relations as well as issues of hunger.

My wife, Katherine, is a retired Development Officer. We have two adult sons, Brodie and wife Anjie, Robert and wife Sara, and four grandchildren. We enjoy living downtown and the cultural, recreational, sports, and culinary life of the city. We have a Pembroke Corgi named Tipper.
