The Forum is our Sunday Christian Formation hour for adults. It encompasses a variety of topics involving spiritual formation and enrichment; topics range from contemporary issues and how they impact our lives and our faith, to matters of parish concern, particularly our ongoing redevelopment feasibility study and its relationship to our vision, mission and identity.
The Forum is offered periodically on Sunday mornings after coffee hour following the 10:30am Eucharist -- typically in the Parish Hall or Library.
Kae Eaton will be our guest preacher on Sunday, July 10. She is the Executive Director of the Mental Health Chaplaincy, "a companioning presence in the city for those living in homelessness, mental illness, addictions and trauma." In today's forum, Kae will be speaking about how to interact with people on the streets or otherwise who may be suffering from mental illness, addictions or trauma.
Come and meet Cara Lauer, the Executive Director of Elderwise, a program using the arts with aging people that will soon be based at Trinity.
Here’s what they have to say about their approach to working with the aging population: “Elderwise provides a unique approach to aging through cultural enrichment and deep respect for all people. Elderwise acts as an agent of change in our society by infusing its values in the community. It does this through our model adult day center, our teaching and outreach program and through our leadership in the field of enriched care for elders.”
