The Rev. Kevin Corbin Smith
What started out as a fill-in when Father Paul was on vacation in 2010 led to Father Kevin’s continued service in the Liturgies of Trinity. He has been regularly involved in the full range of clergy duties at the parish ever since.
Father Kevin served for eleven years as vicar of St. Catherine’s Church in Enumclaw, Washington and for two years as interim priest at St. Andrew’s Parish in Seattle. At present, Father Kevin is working on his Post-Masters Certificate in Pastoral Counseling at Seattle University. He has a special interest in Liturgy and Senior Spirituality. Father Kevin also celebrates the Eucharist at Skyline Terrace each Sunday for a growing group now known as Skyline Congregation.
Born in Yonkers, New York, and raised in Southern California, Father Kevin came to the Pacific Northwest in 1975 to attend Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma. He attended the General Theological Seminary in New York City in 1989. Father Kevin and his partner, Ron Schwartz — a college professor of English — live at the top of Queen Anne Hill, close to Father Kevin’s mother, a chipper and lively 90-something woman of wisdom.
