The Seattle Bach Choir programs music that is especially interesting and beautiful, but not always frequently performed. This includes music from well-known composers as well as those who are not yet well known, but should be. While featuring music of the Baroque, particularly that of J.S. Bach, the group strives for balance from the Renaissance to music of today. Under the direction of Dr. Anne Lyman, the Seattle Bach Choir has uncovered works long buried and hosted Northwest and world premieres.

Portland Guitar Duo

The Portland Guitar Duo was formed in 1999 by James Manuele and Foti Lycouridis. The duo performs Classical and Romantic literature on original, authentic guitars from the 1800s that have been restored to playing condition. Additionally, they seek to bring new music for two guitars to the stage with their own transcriptions and with commissions of new works from two Oregon composers, Matt Doran and Rebecca Oswald. Their concert programs showcase their refined touch and dynamic energy as well as their interpretative abilities.
